Partners is bringing gorgeous new designs to Logan Landing.
At Genesis Land, we love to collaborate with home builders who share our passion for creating vibrant, beautiful places to live. That’s why we’re thrilled that Partners Development Group will be bringing its thoughtfully designed houses and quality craftsmanship to Logan Landing, our unique new community in southeast Calgary.
“Our team is really excited to be building in Logan Landing,” says Cale Marklund, who serves as the marketing manager at Partners Development Group. “We’ve seen the plans for this community really come to life, and we’re just delighted that Genesis Land was willing to give us the opportunity to contribute.”
Launched in 1998, Partners began as a small but mighty homebuilding company, concentrating, at first, on completing just one or two high-quality townhome projects in the Calgary area each year. Since those early days, the company has embraced a much wider focus, adding duplexes, single family homes, commercial properties, and a whole land development division to its portfolio. “We’re now up to over 70 employees, and we’re still growing,” says Marklund. “It’s exciting.”
Here, Marklund shares his insights into what drives the Partners team, how new builds are a great way for people to express themselves, and why prospective homebuyers should be excited about their offerings in Logan Landing.
A shared commitment to customers
“At Partners, we put so much care into what we do,” says Marklund. “We want each and every one of our customers to be happy, and we want to build homes they can be proud of, so we always put that at the forefront of our minds.”
According to Marklund, the Partners team understands just how monumental buying and building a new home can be, which is why they strive to make the experience as positive and seamless as possible. “Buying a home is a big deal. It’s one of the biggest investments a person is going to make, and it’s so special that we get to be a part of that, to go on that journey with the customer as they see their home get built,” he says.
Ensuring a streamlined process
So, what does the homebuying and building journey entail for customers who choose Partners? “It starts with the sales team,” says Marklund, explaining that the company’s salespeople work closely with a prospective buyer to really understand what that buyer is looking for, what kind of house will meet their needs, and how Partners can best deliver.
Once a home has been purchased, the attentive care continues through construction and well beyond the customer’s possession date. “Our construction team works closely with the sales team to make sure they don’t miss anything the buyer wants incorporated into their house,” says Marklund. “And after the construction is done and possession day arrives, our customer care team takes over, doing a walk-through with the homebuyer, making sure they’re happy. We also do a review process with our buyers once they’ve moved in, and we continue to stay in contact so they know they can always reach out to us if they need to. We keep our relationships going.”
The benefits of a new build with Partners
For many homebuyers, one of the most alluring reasons for choosing a new build instead of purchasing a resale is personalization. “When you buy a resale home, you’re relatively restricted to what you’re seeing, and there’s going to be added costs to change anything beyond that,” says Marklund.
But with new builds, a buyer can pick their own finishes and other features, adding their own personal touches to the home. “That’s always a special point for our homebuyers—they get to make their home how they want it, so it’s a better representation of who they are. Plus, they don’t have to work for years to build it up to what they want it to be.”
New products in Logan Landing
When it comes to personalization, says Marklund, the Partners products on offer in Logan Landing provide ample choice for homebuyers. “We’re building very nice paired homes in Logan Landing,” he says. “They’re all unique, with different colours and exteriors, so you really get the opportunity to pick one that you think best represents you.”
The interiors of these homes, adds Marklund, feature gorgeous floor plans, all of which are 1,700+ square feet. “There’s a lot of flexibility in these duplex homes. You can even have a legal secondary basement suite if you want it. It’s such an exciting new product for us as a homebuilder. And it’s exclusive to Logan Landing.”
